Our house, at 459 N. 600 East, Provo 84606, is located in Zone RC, which is a residential area. 2. Most of the area surrounding 459 N. 600 East, Provo 84606 is residential, which ensures that there will not be any commercial developments occurring anytime soon because commercial development is not permitted in this area. 3. At 500 N and 600 E, there is a PRO Zone 4. A couple miles West of our house there is a DT2 Zone 5. A couple miles East of our house is a R16 Zone Future zoning development should not be of concern to a future homeowner of 459 N. 600 East, Provo 84606, because the house is located in a residential area and surrounded by other family residential zones and a pedestrian and transportation friendly commercial zone a few miles away. This location is protected enough that the homeowner should not worry about commercial building being developed in his neighborhood in the future, but the location is close enough to convenient stores and restaurants. Commercial zones near 459 N. 600 East, Provo 84606. 1. There is one near 820 N. and 700 E. 2. There is a second on 900 E. from 560 N. to about 400 N. 3. There are no commercial zones directly neighboring our home, so the owner should not be concerned. Transcript: Energy Efficency in Biomimcry By: Amber, Kyra, Payten, and Raven ABOUT This project is about enrgey effecient homes with Arizona themed styles. This house will include directions to the nearest farmers market. For transportation we provide bikes. For water we have rainwater cisterns. Introduction How it will be helpful Using recycled materials and solar panels will help conserve the environment. For food, the guests will be able to ride their bikes to the nearest farmers market. It is only five minutes away. Most of the house is made from recycled materials The energy used in this house comes from solar pannels The look and landscaping show off the natural look of the Sonoran desert. Project Overview The model we based this house off of was the Reid Park Zoo Conservation learning center Based off of PRODUCTS & SERVICES Solar energy There will be 4 solar panels on the roof of the house. They will be used to supply the house with organic energy. Minimum lumber used. Certified sustainable lumber. Denim scraps: Insulation Recycled content materials: Steal, plastic, and cement fiber board for building. Use bamboo for wood. (It's a rapidly renewable resource). Bamboo stock for fencing. About the house Questions What was the source of inspiration towards this house? Why did we choose the idea of a recycled house? When will solar energy be the most benificial towards the house? Who will be benefited by the natural environment of the house? Question Time Height: 3.8 meters (12 feet) Floor size: 12 by 12.9 meters (39 feet) Bedrooms: 8 meters by 4 meters (26 by 13 feet) Single bathroom stall: 5 by 1.7 meters (16 by 5 feet) Whole bathroom: 5.1 by 5 meters (16 by 16 feet) Measurements Outside the Home When reaching the enternce to the house, a flagstone walkway will be connecting to the porch. There will be plants and cacti surrounding the open areas bringing a beautiful Arizona themed Some of the trees in the yard will have humming bird feeders. Front Yard Environment Walking out into the back yard, the first scene will be a fireplace circled by comfortorable ways to sit. Observing other parts of the surroundings, you will observe a delicate environments including cacti, trees and beautiful Arizona surroundings. Next to the back door, a small shelving area will be located, holding outdoors belongs used for fire building, outdoor activities, and so much more! Transcript: In the 1700's, Joseph Woodruff moved his family from the Yadkin River Valley in North Carolina. He moved his family to a lonely town in Southwestern County. Silverton was platted in 1874 and by 1875 the population doubled. Silverton is the perfect combination of supreme natural beauty and magnificent charm. It is a beautiful paradise in the winter. Transcript: Children's Crusade of 1212 and Long-Term Effects of War on Soldiers The Children's Crusade of 1212 What was it? The Children's Crusade was a popular religious movement that occurred in 1212 CE among Christian youth. Goal The goal of the crusade was to take the holy land of Jerusalem for Christendom. Goal of the Crusade Leaders The crusade was led by Stephen of Cloyes, a French youth, and Nicholas of Cologne, a German youth. Together they gathered and led an army of 20,000 children, adolescents, and adults across Europe. Leaders of the Crusade End of the Crusade End of the Crusade The crusade came to an end in Genoa, a city in Northern Italy, when the army was stopped by insufficient funds to cross the sea. While some supporters simply returned home, much of the army was sold into slavery, at least according to legend. Considered an "unofficial" crusade by some, it managed to accomplish just as much as some of the other "major" crusades that came both before and after it. What Happened to the Army? Lasting Effects of War on Soldiers Long-term effects of war on soldiers Veterans suffer both physical and psychological problems farther down the road, such as heart problems, minor diseases, shell shock, and PTSS. In World War II, many surviving soldiers suffered from diseases such as diabetes, depression, and cardiovascular disease. Diseases Diseases One of the most common effects of war is PTSS. PTSS can have a range of different effects varying from hallucinations to problems with sleep. PTSS is caused by traumatic experiences. There are several different factors that can affect how severe the condition is, or if even happens. For example, Genetics has a huge part to do with the likelihood that you will suffer PTSS after a major traumatic event. Often times if a person has PTSS, it will be triggered by something which they relate to the event, causing them to have a panic or anxiety attack.
